Sylvester has decided to celebrate spring by holding the first annual Central Oregon Foolabloo. Come prepared for anything, as after all it is April Fools Day!
Come on everyone, help Sylvester make this a GREAT celebration! Party will be held in the Bend Bowmen building, right on the corner where Knott Road turns into 27th. The building is HUGE with enough seating and tables for everyone to be very comfortable.
The event will start around 6:00pm, so you can spend the day enjoying Central Oregon geocaching, and then get together in the evening and swap stories and lies! Dinner will be a pot-luck affair, where everyone attending will bring a food item for the rest to share. Everyone is to bring their own favorite beverages (yes, alcohol is encouraged!), as well as plates, utensils, cups, etc. Depending on the first letter of your screen name (for example, Shotgun & Peashooter would be an S), bring the following type of food dish for the pot-luck dinner:
A-F: Bring a main dish
G-L: Bring a Vegetable dish
M-R: Bring a bread or salad item
S-Z: Bring a dessert item
Anyone that wants to bring more than one food item, GREAT!!!!
Sylvester is also asking everyone to bring an original creative cache container of some type. We will be having a raffle for the containers, and the lucky winners will have a month to come up with a name and find some way to hide it as a cache. The more creative your container is, the harder it will be for the lucky winner to come up with an idea for the cache!
