A nice "walk in the park" till you get to the final location!
I have thought about putting a cache in this park after seeing this vast open undeveloped scrub on Google Earth. I printed a picture of it and wrote down the coordiantes for the final location, however it didn't work out how I thought it would!
First I placed it in the wrong part of the park, so I went back and moved it. Then I could not get to where I wanted to go...so I settled for the final location.
The final location: Is it called bushwacking if you can step over the bush? For me it wasn't too hard, but I'm 6'1"! For those not quite that tall there may be a little bushwacking involved. Please remember that the final location is undeveloped and the possibility of creatures slithering about is very real! I didn't see any though. There are some palmettos around also.
The Cache: you are looking for a camo painted med size container. Lots of goodies and some stickers.
This is a really neat park an if your there at the right time you may see lots of fish jumping in the "lagoon". There is also a jogging path that you can use to get close to the cache, sooooo joggers may be on the path also! I got a couple funny looks when I came back out onto the path from the cache! It can be a very busy place! Have fun!
