Will be discussing spring
projects!
Who: Anybody that caches
in the NW Ohio area, whether you are new, experienced, or just
wanna know more about geocaching.
What: A monthly Meet
& Eat at Panera Bread in Findlay, Ohio. Come alone, bring a
friend, bring the family, plan on dinner or just grab a coffee,
it’s all casual. Stay all night, stay an hour, stay 10 minutes, or
just open the door and say "Hi", it’s up to
you.
When: The third Thursday evening of each month
at 7:00pm, ie: March 16th,April 20th.
Where: Panera Bread, 1971 Tiffin Ave.,
Findlay, Ohio, 419-422-3260 (See coordinates at the top of the
page.)
Why: To allow new cachers and experienced
cachers to meet and mingle. As this hobby is often a solo effort,
you only get to read the names of fellow cachers in the cache logs
and online. Here however, you can meet those whose caches you hunt
and the cachers who find them.
So...why Panera you ask? Well,
some thought went into this and there are a few
reasons:
Panera in Findlay has free,
that’s FREE, wireless internet connections for computers. This
means that you can bring your laptop along with you and show
everyone a caching or mapping program you like or pictures from a
caching expedition or the cache page for a great cache that you
think everyone will like. You can even bring a caching and
technology question with you and the computer gurus in attendance
will be able to offer advice. There are smart people in our group
that have info on caching and mapping programs as well as websites
and wireless internet.
ALSO: If you live in the northern part of NW
Ohio, you are welcome to attend our "Maumee Style" Meet & Eat.
It takes place on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the
Schlotzsky’s Deli. Find our event cache page
here or by searching the Maumee Zip Code
43537.
