The event will be held at the temporary home of the Leominster
Public Library, which is at the Crossroads Office Park, 690
Mechanic Street in Leominster.
The real library building is being rennovated. We'll do the inside
stuff in a big conference-style room, and with the building owners
permission, we can put a temporary cache outside.

This event will be held to "SHOW/EXPOSE" geocaching to some
potentially new cachers and their families.
Fezziwig377 & DaleW2001 will be leading the event, going over
"the basics." Some of what we will be talking about is posted
below:
What does G-P-S mean? What is a GPSr?
What is a GEOCACHE? What is GEOCACHING? What are different types of
caches?
What is a WAYPOINT?
How do I go about locating a GEOCACHE?
What is a Travel Bug?
and other Frequesntly Asked Questions.
We will be working on having some GPSr's available for attendees to
use and experiment with. There will also be some new caches posted
in the area specifically for the event. A GPS will not be needed to
attend. If you have one, bring it, if not, come anyway.
NOTE TO EXPERIENCED CACHERS:
(with 10+ caches under their belt)
Experienced Cachers may find this event to be a bit too elementary,
as it is just the basics (if you have found a cache before, you
know all the info we will be talking about!). =) However, if you
would like to come and be a "mentor" to some new cachers or sign
the log for the event and cache about with some new ones being
placed in the area for the event, by all means stop by.
