groomers: Finally made it out to this cache to see if I could retrieve the Travel bug that was in it. The bug was gone, apparently some mushroom hunter had found the cache and took some of the items out of it. They even took time to write in the log not realizing what they were taking.
Sorry but can only assume the travel bug is gone unless they figure out somehow wha they have.

Geocache Description:

Cache is locate fairly close to a trail that is an easy hike.

This cache is located in Eagle Lake State Park it is managed by Hancock County Conservation Commission. Some of the area is open to public hunting and some is a Wildlife refuge. Blaze orange would be recommeneded if Caching during hunting season. The geocache is a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) area. It is registered with the Hancock County Conservation Board. Blaze orange clothing is strongly recommended during hunting seasons since it is located in an area where hunting is allowed.
After you find the cache, check out Eagle Lake State Park. This beautiful 21 acre park is managed by the Hancock County Conservation Board and features a handicapped accessible elevated observation deck, hiking trails, a picnic shelter, grills, playground equipment and good wildlife viewing opportunities.
The easiest place to park is at N 43° 07.550' W 093° 44.511' There is a very nice overlook built here so vistors can look out over Eagle Lake. The Overlook is Handicapped Accessable and includes a picnic table so you can enjoy your lunch while looking at the area.
