I discovered this nice walk, which goes right up Hastoe Hill, while looking for places to go for morning walks. The public right of way starts here N51° 47.019 W 000° 39.784. This is the access way closest to the car park.

If you continue up the hill past the cache on right you will see the famous Hastoe Hill Riding School. It's a nice walk and offers some stunning views down to Tring.

Hastoe Hill is where a controversial Orange mobile phone mast was going to be built in Tring; these plans were scrapped after the proposals were deemed to 'fail to conserve the natural beauty of the area'. It's a nice spot so I must commend whoever stopped those plans.

For the brave you can continue your walk by turning left at the end of pathway N 51° 46.560 W 000° 39.953 and then another left and you will find the Ridgeway, which continues down, into Tring Park. Where you may find some other Geocaches, or so I have heard.

If you are walking the Ridgeway or would rather start at the top of the hill you will also find a public right of way at N 51° 46.560 W 000° 39.953.

The cache starts at the largest cache I have ever seen, you are looking for a micro attached to the largest cache.

The micro contains the co-ordinates for the final cache, which is quite large but not as large as the first one. All will be revealed when you get to the first location.

We hope you enjoy the walk and the cache hunt.
