Hidden in Ruff Wood on the outskirts of Ormskirk and a great place to spend some time exploring. Gps coverage may be a bit of a problem, especially in the summer but it shouldn't be too great a hassle.
On a clear day there are nice views of Rivington to the north.
For a more enjoyable romp try in conjunction with Alex Wood which is about two miles away and apart from crossing one A road is mostly via public footpath or very quiet country lanes.
Cache contains the usual goodies and is the bog-standard tupperware box.
