Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden along some trails in a wooded area in a hidden park in Hamburg, NY. The trails are well marked and the cache is hidden only a few feet off the trail so no bushwhacking should be necessary, although there may be some thorn bushes/vines in the area of the cache. As always, please be careful.

Parking can be found at several entrances, but I recommend
N 42' 47.690
W 078' 48.346

We discovered this park while trying to find the nearby Alsace Placed cache, and my 4 year old daughter and I spent quite a bit of time wandering around the woods.

The park has a small playground and is open all year from sunrise to sunset.

The cache itself is small and holds only a log book (bring your own writing implement) and a FTF prize. Because this cache will not hold trade items, I will, from time to time, place NTF (Next To Find) prizes in the cache just to keep things interesting.

The cache is hidden very close to my home, so I will be doing regular maintenance on the cache.

This is a new style cache container that I am testing for the first time, so please let me know what you think!

Don't let the term "micro cache" fool you, you're not looking for a typical film canister type cache.

Please rehide the cache exactly as you found it so the next cachers can have as much fun locating it as you did.

Tree cover may effect GPS coverage during non-winter months.

Please note that during spring run off and heavy summer rains this park can get very muddy and boots are highly recommended!

There is also a nearby creek which can swell up quite a bit, so please be careful if caching with children.

Don't forget to check out the "Log This Cache" and "A Little Bit Further #8" cachea also located in this park, as well as the nearby "Alsace Placed"

Any feedback and comments on the coordinates and cache (good, bad or otherwise) are always appreciated.
