Geocache Description:

Hidden along a footpath that runs adjacent to an area of woodland known locally as Hills and Holes. This is a fairly easy walk from the suggested parking space, although the path becomes muddy after rain.

The cach is a standard waterproof food container. It's original contents include: A Wooden Finger Puppet, Key Ring, Sewing Kit, Land Rover Pin Badge, Crayons, RAF Pin Badge and a Duxford paper Clip. There is space for 2 cars at N52 29.220 E0 52.458. Otherwise there is road side parking in Great Hockham. For a longer walk use the Forestry Commision Hockham Wood Picnic Site Car Park at
N52 29.471 E0 51.202 and then the footpath network and lanes to approach the cache from Little Hockham.

The Hills and Holes Wood gets it's name from the Pingo Ponds inside which were formed at the end of the last ice age.
