Located in the Town of Great Pond,Hancock County,Maine.Travelling North on Great Pond Road Make a right at the old church onto the Alligator Road,follow Alligator Rd. approximately 1 mile.Park anywhere near the Northern end of Long Pond(boat launch).
There are a couple of different ways to reach this cache,so it makes it nice to take another way back to your vehicle after you find it.Look for looping trails.It's a nice area to explore or to have a picnic at as well.This cache may require a little time to locate,or it may not.WARNING-Depending on the season you may wish to bring some water shoes.Although as of this posting I had no problems placing the cache at it's location,Mother Nature can be tempermental,so come prepared.In the cache there are all sorts of trinkets and such,I will be upgrading it with other goodies as well from time to time.I'll post whatever I add,so keep your eyes peeled.Please put the cache back EXACTLY where you found it,don't be lazy.Watch out for the kids on "field trips"from the local school,you'll see a school bus parked on the road if they are there.Also watch out for "Local Yokels"-other than me,that is.haha.The cache is in an ammo box.
