Geocache Description:

This cache is on the scenic trails of Gunpowder Falls State Park - between Harford and Belair Roads. This larger than average Cache is hidden not far off a well maintained trail that follows the Gunpowder River. The theme of this cache is Toiletry items and we are starting out with Wet Ones, baby powder, hand sanitizer, a toothbrush, backpackers toilet paper, etc.

This cache is the 4th of 7 being placed by GSTroopers - aka Cadette/Senior Troop 173 from Fork/Kingsville. We are earning our "Not Just Another Treasure Hunt" IPA/Badge. We chose this spot because we can hike in from our home to check on the cache and do maintenance. Parking is available at Belair Road (Rt 1) about 5.4 miles north of I-695 (the Beltway). Your hike will parallel the SOUTH side of the Gunpowder River, providing views of great blue heron and beaver habitat. An optional approach would be from the Gunpowder and Harford Road.
