This multicache is a bike ride that follows the Dandenong Creek downstream from The Basin, at the base of Mt Dandenong, to the city of Dandenong, which is the largest town in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. You will pass through many parks, reserves, wetlands & sports grounds along the way. The ride should take about 4 hours.
There are 5 waypoints along the way at which you will find a small plastic jar containing a clue for the final cache position, as well as the co-ordinates for the next waypoint. After completing this cache you may want to do the return ride to find 'A Dandy Ride 2', which is hidden not far from where you start this cache.
The starting point is at the posted co-ordinates where you need to find a small aluminium plate fixed to a post next to the path. This plate has the co-ordinates for the first waypoint.
