Having some concern that there were few caches
the not so able bodied amongst us can attempt we decided to set out
a cache that is totally, we hope, disabled friendly. Tarmac paths
are all you will need to complete this cache, and even at the final
destination there should be few - if any - problems. In the summer
this will be a very agreeable cache where some may want to while
away a few hours with the family, read a book, have a picnic, or
just take in the sunshine. Attractions on offer include a
children's playground, water features, an outside bowls green,
bandstand, to mention just some. Shelters should it turn wet and
public toilets are also available. Just a few minutes drive away is
the town of Aberdare where there are also plenty of café's, inns,
and of course for those that like to spend - shops.
This area can become very busy in the nice
weather so stealth is required. The container is small - so think
small - although the intention is just the fun of finding and
logging the cache. Please be careful not to be observed retrieving
the cache and rehide with care so it is not seen as this can be a
busy area. The hunt consists of 4 virtual caches and a regular. If
you are in a hurry it could be completed within the hour. When set
out there were a log book - pencil - Sharpener - small calculator,
and Gromit on the hunt Travel bug.
VC1 is at the co-ordinates at the start of the
page.
