Please everyone...No
need to climb up any hills and if you go to our parking
coords you dont have to pay a toll and you will have a nice
level walk to cache
December 31, 2005 was the last day that drivers in New Hampshire
could use their NH TOLL TOKENS. As of January 1, 2006 the E-Z pass
system went into effect making all those tokens a new part of NH
history. To preserve this part of NH history, we have place this
cache. Since this is a TOLLBOOTH cache.....you are requested to
bring a Token to PAY your TOLL ! (of course if you were smart and
turned them all in then you can't PAY YOUR TOLL, but everyone is
still welcome to search for this booth & sign the log). Travel
bugs are welcome to stop at this cache. You do not need to exchange
misc items but of course you may. To get to the coords for the
cache you will need to research NH highway tokens (google) to
answer the next two questions:
1) What year did the NH Turnpikes first use Tokens ? 19bc
2) What year was the recently retired 25 cent token (that
replaced the "B" token) introduced? 19yx
N 43 05.2bc W 071 28.1yx Now .... to get the correct north
coordinates you must add .049 to get the correct west coordinates
you must minus .066 Have fun :-) First, Second & Third to Find
prizes are in the cache otherwise there is something for everyone
that pays their toll ! ( which we will try to keep going as long as
we can). We will also be placing the "New Hampshire Tokens RETIRED"
travel bug in this cache. Please no pictures of the actual cache.
Please rehide the cache as you found it to insure that it will not
be muggled !!!
