Finally a parking lot cache where you don't have to
worry about dropping the lampskirt on your hands or the nest of
bees living under it.
This is NOT a
cache for families or children. You will very likely get wet and
dirty while finding this cache. Strong odors, trash, mud and
polluted water may be present at times. Seeking this cache may be
deadly during and after rainstorms. It is recommended that you
bring along a second or third team member for safety reasons. Do
NOT attempt this cache
alone!
Coordinates will appear to be in the middle of
the supermarket parking lot. The cache is not there - or rather it
is but you can't get it from there. Do
NOT open any manhole
covers!
Tube entry point is located on the North side of
the white fence behind Topps - below the graffiti.
Enter the pipe to the west - the concrete pipe.
Micro with a log only (Bring your own writing instrument)
Observe Terrain rating. Rating
reflects terrain at worst times of year. At other times such as
after a rainfall the terrain will be 5 or higher. Do NOT attempt
this cache if you are afraid of getting wet or dirty, or afraid of
the dark, confined spaces, spiders, rats, mud or odors. Waterproof
flashlights will be needed. High waterproof boots are strongly
recommended, unless you don't mind getting wet because the entrance
to this area can be deeper than normal (hiking)
boots.
