A camo'd rubbermaid container with some hiking supplies for
trade.
Get to this one by turning on to County road 3159 from County
road 63 at the Moreland community. This will turn into FS255. The
original route I described to get to this cache is no longer
available because the land has been posted No Trespassing. The
cache is on National Forest Property but it will have to be
accessed from now on by hiking up Brushy Creek. Park near the
bridge over the creek, (see the parking coordinates for GC1937D),
the trail is on the west side of the creek. I am upping the terrain
rating, because to access the cache from Brushy Creek you will have
to find a way up the big cliffs. It can be done because I have done
it but be careful.
This cache can also be accessed by canoe at mile 6 downstream
from Brushy Lake by hiking up Sougahoagdee Creek.
This is a beautiful place, I hope you enjoy it.
UPDATE!!!! Missing container has been replaced with an ammo box
in a more secure hiding place.
