A cache located on Jenny Dixon Beach and a local ghost story to go with it.
Local legend has it that the beach was named after a young girl who was hitchhiking along The Entrance Road from The Entrance to Toukley on a Wednesday night in the 1960's. She was picked up around midnight by four men in a car who later murdered her.
Her killers were caught and charged but were aquitted due to a lack of evidence.
The girls ghost still haunts The Entrance Road searching for the four men.
There has been many accounts of drivers seeing a young girl hitchhiking along The Entrance Road on a Wednesday night around midnight. Those that have stopped to give her a lift have said that she talked to them normally but when they drove past the cemetery near Norah Head she has just vanished from the seat beside them.
The cache is a small black container hidden down on the beach (132 steps down to be exact)
