Geocache Description:

Stones, stones, everywhere. You're really in the pits, here.

This gravel pit is a great place to let your dog run free. It's also a popular place to ride horses and ATVs. On cold days, ice in the puddles and tire tracks leaves amazing crystalline designs. And the trees along the perimeter provide a welcome relief from winter winds. Enjoy your stroll, but don't dally after sunset... the coyotes occasionally come through and small dogs might become appetizers. Parking is available at Hastings Street entrance. NOTE: This is private property with a city/county easement. The owner has granted permission for geo-cachers to enter and search for the treasure. Have fun!
