Geocache Description:

I have placed a new container in a new location. There is a side trail marked by two large rocks that will take you down towards the lake. The cache is off the trail quite a distance to avoid being muggled. My kids love it when we find one of these containers. It is stuffed so full of goodies we could barely get the lid closed.

I adopted the Tyler Pond cache in June and have been planning on placing a series along this trail. The original cache was missing so I have replaced that and added 3 others. I hope you enjoy the trail. You can bring a fishing pole and do some fishing in the pond after you finish the series. Use the coords from the Gateway cache for parking. Enjoy the hike and I hope you enjoy the series. If you like the scenery you can hike some of the other trails in this unique area, they go on for what seems like miles and the forest is full of deer and other wildlife, maybe you will want to give this pond a try for some nice brook trout when the weather warms. This pond does have special regulations so be sure to read the law book before you do.
