MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of The Falls at Barrett Park Cache to find out about the status of this cache on December 17, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to the Falls of Barrett Park.

The cache is hidden far away from the rest of the park. The above coordinates will take you to the Meadow, the trailhead to the falls. Be aware, the trail will take you past where the Can Lady lived, however, she has long since left Barrett and no other homeless person has resided here since.
Follow the trail to the end, where you can then use the coordinates N42'31.312 W071'46.690 to reach the top of the falls. Should the coordinates "lead you off", just look for the "X", this will tell you that you are on the right track.
Once you reach the "X", you will need to put your GPSr away and look for the cache manually. This area was very special to me, so I want this cache to be a real treat to find.
The cache is an old tin coffee can, inside are some small trinkets, the log book and a pencil. All the items are in a plastic zip-lock bag to prevent them from getting too wet.
Have fun, and enjoy the Falls.
