The cache is located on publically-owned land that has not yet been developed for recreational/park use. Terrain is mostly hilly and steep. The most recent finders of this cache parked their car at the end of Rand Road, and made their way up the ridge along the river to the cache.
The cache's location in this large forested tract, overlooking Dog River, seems almost wilderness like!
