Geocache Description:

Park at trail head, short, easy .15 mile hike, no trade is required for this cache to take something, and there isn't much room, so please take something but don't leave something and don't feel bad either.

Welcome to the Connor Grist Mill Geocache

Located on the Site of the Connor Grist Mill (circa 1815-1936)

In this geocache are many artifacts found on and around the site of the Connor Grist Mill, feel free to take one if you can give it a good home, no exchange is necessary, but if your not going to give it a good home then leave it for someone else.

This grist mill was once used to grind grain into flour, and meal, which then supplied the small village of Unity and the surrounding area with it. It was abandoned around 1936, and slowly decayed into what is left today. You can see an old grinding wheel to the left side of the trail, and many other "remains" scattered in the general area.

Please tread softly and try not to damage the rock foundation
