Geocache Description:

This Cache is located very near an ancient Wooly Mammoth Steel Trap. Also, there are the fossil remains of five of these beasts very near the cache area to study. They were caught by this trap and eaten by the locals.

The park is located off of Commmerce Road. It is not as far into the park as the Firefighter's Cache # 2. (GCTXXB) The park is known by the locals as Flare Park.

There are many ATV trails running through the park. Although, I am sure that it is not legal to be ridding them in the area. There are many new DNR rules about ATV's. All areas are now closed unless posted open.

This cache was won at the MiGO Winter Social. It is a small plastic container. Med. to large trading items can be traded. Also, there is a Satellite Coin in there to log. Please keep this coin in the cache for others to log too. First finder's prize is a TreePlanter Coin and their name will be posted here for the next 100 years.

Have fun and enjoy the area. Do not remove any Woolymammoth fossils. Watch the kids around the trap, you never know when it might spring back to life!

Replaced container 4/19/06 with new one. I hope this one lasts longer. Make sure it is hid well. I don't want any Wooly Mammouths to chew it up!
