Cache #2 in Dixie Valley Nevada, Near An Old Ranch House Overlooking The Dry Lake. Flat Terrain, Access Via Well Maintained Gravel Road. 3468' elevation. Park At The House and begin your search.
30 Caliber Olive Drab Ammo Can. Original Contents Are A Logbook and Pen in A Ziplock Bag And 4 Rubber Super Balls. This is the second cache We have ever placed. We set Another Cache Further Down The Valley And Plan To Create A String Going It's Entire Length. Starting at HWY 50, it is a 3 hr drive to the north end of the valley, over 3 passes and down to HWY 80 near Lovelock Nevada. The trip is full of beautiful mountains, wide open vistas, with not another soul in sight the entire time we were there.
