Geocache Description:

This 362 ha site is located 5 km east of Leamington, Ontario. The marsh has been designated as a Class 11 provincially significant wetland, Environmentally Significant Area and a Conservation Are. Vegetation communities present include beach, mud flat, wet meadow, Buttonbush shrub swamp, flooded Red Ash woods, old fields and several types of decidious woods making it a diverse site. This area is a migratory bird stop and numerous rarities have been spotted. A great area for natural surroundings. Keep your eyes open for birds, frogs, ducks, geese and blue heron. The magnificent Bald Eagle has also been spotted in this vicinity. The cache is in an easily accessible location but not recommended for night caching. Parking co-ordinates N 42 02.501 W 082 28.896
