While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

The SQ in the title signifies Spirit Quest to distinguish a cache that is set in a cemetery or memorial garden. Please be respectful of the area and observe rules and posted hours which are typically sunrise to sunset.

Are those the bones of a Witches hand on that gravestone? Well, that is what the youth of Tecumseh would like to believe. I heard another story today that they are the roses placed there at the time of burial and now turned to stone. Either way this is one of the coolest gravestones I've seen and the oldest in it's immediate vicinity. The cache is located just a few feet North of the stone so take a good look while your there, count the 'fingers' some say the number is never the same. This is a micro in a mini M&M's container in honor of my home town. (Any guesses?), my kids helped me hide it so it shouldn't be difficult. This cemetery is very popular with walkers and joggers so be subtle.
