NOTE!
This was not accessable after T.S. Irene. You can now get there from Rte. 4 on Wheelerville Road but can't drive to the parking lot from Notch Rd as a bridge is still out from the storm. Lots of changes to the area after the storm and floods. Nice quiet drive to the good sized parking lot at the trail head. It took almost a year for someone to get the next to find gift I left there before the floods!
This cache was placed on the same day that a local Marine Reserve Unit was traveling to Iraq. Visit this cache, think of their safe return or say a prayer so that these Marines may return home safely to their loved ones. This is a short walk along the Bucklin Trail at the bottom of the west side of Killington Mountain. Easy parking and the trail is marked by light blue marks on the trees. The cache is on public land open all year for recreation but leave your ATVs home. Foot traffic only. The cache is a short distance past the first foot bridge. When the snow gets deep you may want to use snowshoes. Enjoy the quiet beautiful forest. A scratch ticket awaits the first one to find this cache. Good Luck! Snowcave.
