Cheraw State Park
Golf? Fishing? Hiking? Riding? Camping? ... this is the
place!
Parking is available at the main parking lot near the park
office. After your geocaching, you can take advantage of the many
activities available at Lake Juniper and Cheraw State Park
including fishing, canoeing, boating, equestrian trails, bike
trails, hiking trails, and a championship 18 hole golf course. If
you’re like us and can’t get it all done in a day, there are also
rustic cabins, group camping, and lakeside family campsites
available.
In addition to the above recreational attractions, Cheraw is
also a protected habitat for many species of wild and plant life.
As is the case with all South Carolina State Parks, there is a $2
per person admission fee. Learn more about Cheraw State Park
here. With all the park has to offer, you can easily see why
it’s one of our favorites.
You’re looking for a small container with room for only a log.
Please bring your own pen or pencil. Be discrete and mindful of
muggles ... you’ll be in the picnic area and they are likely to be
all around you, especially on weekends. Likewise, properly rehide
the container so others that follow can experience the same
adventure.
