Since this is too nice of a park to only have one cache in it, my
mom and I decided to put another one in here.
When I was little I grew up right above this park on Bench
Drive. There was no nintendo or playstation back then so this is
where my friends and I did everything, from playing war to catching
crawdads you name it we did it.
Everytime I left the house my mom would tell me, "Do not
go near the water" And everytime I would come home wet. The
funny part, my mom tells me, is that when I would get home, I would
rat myself out and she wouldn't have to even ask what happened. I
would walk onto the sundeck and she would come out and I would say,
"what?!.... I wasn't playing in the water. I wasn't trying to catch
crawdads." I don't know how she just didn't start laughing.
If you are familiar with the trail it won't be to hard to find.
The only reason for the slightly higher rating is that the trail is
grown over a little in some spots. We hope you have a good time
here and enjoy the trail.
