Geocache Description:

You're headed to Cole Park. It's a tiny wooded area along the Connecticut River. But DON'T come here from The Second Chambers Cache and DON'T use Oak Ridge or Richardson to look for the trail. NO BUSHWHACKING NEEDED UNTIL leaving the trail fairly close to the cache. When on Rt. 10 (N. Main St.)LOOK FOR A SMALL BROWN RECTANGULAR SIGN on the street sign post that says Cole Park.

Hunting is permitted here, so wear some ORANGE in hunting season.

This is no longer the huge cannon ammo can my daughter had given me years ago. It went missing and I replaced it once with a much smaller one. Then once again it went missing. Stay on the trail even as you pass the cache. It will turn up a very steep hill. You may want to bring hiking poles. When you get to a suspended fallen tree across the path on the hill, bear right andup. Please place the cache back exactly as you found it so it can't slide away. That is, within the area of the trunk & sticks. Thanks!
