Covered in Moss Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

el-toro: I'm moving out-of-state and won't be able to maintain this one. Nice preserve if anyone else wants to drop one in the area. Thanks for all the logs.

Geocache Description:

Hidden in the middle of Terrace Park Nature Preserve off one of the smaller trails.

I found this Nature Preserve when I went searching for nearby Dry Access (visit link) and have returned many times to walk my dogs. It is a quiet area with wide interconnecting trails that runs along the Little Miami. Off of the wide main trails are smaller "trails" that aren't marked and intertwine throughout the preserve. The cache site is approx. 20 ft. from a couple of the smaller trails. Please be respectful of the area and stay on the trails as much as you can (they can be hard to navigate) and only stray from a trail when you get close to the cache site. Just a helpful hint, resist the urge to follow the first small trail you see. The parking coordinates are N39 09.160 W084 18.826.

The cache is an ammo box with a variety of items. Right now, it does have a lot of things for kids, but I plan to add more adult oriented items in the future.

After you've found the cache, enjoy hiking the rest of the trails.
