A very easy microcache. It's a camo'd pill bottle. Best not to access from freeway.
I'm placing this one to commemorate my upcoming two year anniversary of my move from Houston to Arlington (May 1st).
Here are some fun facts about my new hometown:
Arlington was founded in 1856 by confused settlers who thought they were in Virginia.
Arlington is exactly between Dallas and Fort Worth, and exactly between Albuquerque and Atlanta. The exact point is right off Center Street- hence the name.
Before the halitosis epidemic of 1902, Arlington boasted a population larger than Dallas and Forth Worth combined!
During a campaign stop in Arlington, Vice President James S Sherman survived an assasination attempt.
Famous Arlingtonians include Oscar Winner Marisa Tomei, Baseball Hall of Famer Red Ruffing, former U.S. Senator Lloyd Bensen, poet Thomas Snodgrass, and baking mogul Betty Crocker.
Arlington is the largest city in the U.S.without mass public transportation.
Mark Twain once said of Arlington: "Arlington Texas has the world's greatest collection of geocaches ever seen."
