The cache is hidden in a ammo box. Near water. Steep hill. Not wheelchair accessible. Please rehide as found if not better.
This cache was hidden for a sweet lady and a dear friend...give it up for MMJ56...otherwise known as Marie, MMJ or Rockydog and Team Desert Rat's Mum!!! I hid this cache for her (in our front yard) ON her birthday awhile ago now...but waited until I found THEE spot for it out in the wilds before it became *official*. Its hard to hide an ammo box in the city ya know?!!
This cache was placed to honor Marie for her 70TH BIRTHDAY!! Yes I am announcing it to the world!! MMJ is 70 years old and still caching up a storm!!
I don't know about you, but when I picture a 70 year old woman I think of someone older and frail and not very quick on their feet. Is this a fitting picture of health for our MMJ56?? oh NO SIREE...not one bit!! Anyone who knows her is laughing right now because they know that is not her at all....far from it in fact because Marie is the picture of health. She is everything that you would want to be when you turn 70. She actively works out 3 times a week, walks daily and is fit like you wouldn't imagine. She will leave you in the dust if given the chance. Twice I've cashed with her and twice she's led the way. I kid you not. She's tall, lean and mean (in a good way!!) She plans on climbing Mount Borah this summer (to get a cache) and trust me when I say she will be leading the pack!!
GEOCACHING SKILLS:
Marie knows how to plan out the perfect caching day (as her sons, myself, Morigue and Silver Yarrow will attest to). She figures out the starting time, narrows down the caches in that area to a science on how to best & efficiently get them without back tracking or wasting time, she has all her notes ready to go with all the clues on one sheet of paper, and heaven forbid you should take out time to leisurely eat somewhere in a restaurant...no way...in her eyes "That wastes valuable caching time"!! Let's eat on the trail is her style!!
She told me once recently that "Life is like a book, and each phase of your life is like a chapter. I have enjoyed each chapter of my life and appreciate each one for its uniqueness".
Marie...I really love your spirit and sense of enthusiasm!! You are a sweetie and I just wish you a very happy year and a Happy 70th Birthday Belatedly!! You give us all something to aspire to. Best wishes and as you always say.....Keep on Caching!!
