Long Hard 3-4 hour round trip hike. This is the highest point along the Glendora Ridge Mountain Way Fireroad.
Start at Garcia Trail on Sierra Madre at the Fire Station in Azusa (between Barranca and Azusa). Once you've made it up to the Fire Road, head east. Alternate route is Glendora Mountain Road to Glendora Ridge Mountain Way then walk west. As of 3/27/2006 Glendora Mountain Road is still closed to vehicle traffic so I don't recommend the walk.
Stand on top of the highest mound at the GPS location, face north (face the water tank across the canyon) and walk 10 paces to the brush line. The 10" plastic box is at the base of a bush.
