Back in 2003 was the third time Carl came across geocaching and thought it would be a great way for us to spend time together and see new places.. Little did I know how much we'd enjoy it. I ordered a gps so we could try it on my birthday.

Our first try at geocaching was I'm Not a Wuss. It was a hot and humid day (July 13, 2003.) We took the wrong trail..ended up making it A 4 mile hike, had a DNF and some sore feet! Somethings never change. We went back two days later and found it and really enjoyed it. I think we were hooked from day one.

We decided a couple of months ago we wanted to host an event for our 5th year cachiversary. We really enjoy the hikes and seeing new places but I think we enjoy the events as much if not more because we get so see so many great friends we met through geocaching. We're hoping to get to meet some new cachers and of course see the veterans! Remember this event is open to ALL geocachers even if you just got your gps.

Come and join us at one of our favorite places to eat, Today's Pizza in Mount Joy (it has just expanded and added more tables!!!whoohoo)on Sunday July 13, 2008 between 2:00 and 4:00pm to hang out for a bit. There are lots of caches of all types around that you can search for.Please post a note or will attend so we can give the guys working there an approximate head count.

I just wanted to post a note about travel bugs. Feel free to bring all you want and trade all you want amongst each other but we will not be having a travel bug table. We just can't be stuck with a bunch of travel bugs since we don't know when we'll be able to cache again. Thanks
