Welcome to the town of Oro, not Oroville. You may learn some info about the area if you poke around a bit at the first location.
The coordinates listed are for the first stage of two stages that will lead you to another, much more pleasant location where most locals spend their summer months only a few minutes drive away. (I mention drive as it would be a long walk as I see one cacher decided to do. I wouldn't recommend a walk, but hey, whatever toots your horn!) The loot is at the 2nd stage. The original container was muggled sometime in April 2007, so I changed the location of both stages on 5/2/07 as well as the container type.
There is no need to leave the pavement on the first stage. In fact, the city and people at the first stage would prefer that you didn't so as not to disturb the surroundings. Please do not trample around in the rocks.
Also the Alien, Rocket, Diabetes, and Chicken TB's were lost when the original cache was muggled so you won't find them there.
