Monson Marsh Multi Multi-Cache
nhgoldens: Went out to check on this today after getting e-mail from
geo-spaz. The final is gone so we went to WP1 and picked up the container with the directions in it and we are archiving this cache. Thanks to all who took the time to hike or bike the couple of miles to find this one.

Everyone who has done caches at Monson Center say they have to come back and explore more of this wonderful area. Now is the time to do just that on this approximately 2 mile multi.
Monson Center is located off Federal Hill Road in Milford, NH. There are no signs for it, so you must look for the road sign nailed to a tree that reads Adams Rd. There is a small parking area. Please do no block the gate. The area is closed dusk to dawn, so there is no night caching allowed. There is hunting in season, so be sure to wear blaze orange on you and your 4-footed friends. Ticks can be plentiful in warm weather and trails can be very icy in cold weather.
There are many trails that criss-cross and you can get turned around very easily even with a GPS in hand. You should be able to stay on the wider trails to do this cache and there is no bushwhacking involved, unless, of course, you get yourself stuck trying to find a shorter route. But who does that? After parking, walk down the main path, check out the kiosk with the map in it, continue down to the Gould house and follow your GPS from there. Your first destination is the marsh, where WP#1 is located. Here, you are looking for a small container where you will get coords for WP#2 and some additional info to help you complete this multi. Once you get to the marsh, enjoy the view and the beaver dams. At certain points along this multi, you are pretty close to the other 2 caches hidden here and may want to consider looking for those if you haven't already done so. Moxie and Liberty, 10 month old golden retriever sisters, hike here 3-4 times a week. We hope you enjoy this hike as much as we do. We have spotted grazing deer, redtailed hawks, woodpeckers, bluebirds and many other species of birds along these trails. When you finish this multi, you'll be able to boast to friends that you walked from Milford to Hollis all in one day.
FTF prize is a baseball cap autographed by Bob Vila.
