FSUDad: After the last few days of dealing with reviewers, a lot of the fun in geocaching is gone... Cache has been removed, do not log a find because you found a scrap of paper or a busted lid to some jar... It will be DELETED.

Most of the area's large wading birds can be readily found in the old phosphate pits near the main park road. Short-tailed Hawks have been seen year round. The song bird migration starts in late July and ends about the first of November.
The best birding is on the nature trail starting at the northeastern end of the park and there are numerous caches placed in that area. The local Audubon society sponsor bird walks on Saturday mornings throughout the fall.
