Dig A Dog A Bone (#1 dog series) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueRajah: As there's been no cache to find for months and the owner had been missing since 04 August 2012, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact me in the next three months if you have repaired the cache, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in a field, which we have gotten permission to use as a dog park as long as we clean up after the dogs. On the west fence is a container that has bags in it that can be used to pick up Poop.

This cache is the first of a series of caches that will take you to dog friendly places in Utah County. The cache is a bone shaped tin that was used to hold dog biscuits.

This cache is for every Geocacher and every four legged caching canine. I have noticed a lot of Geocachers enjoy taking their dogs out on hunts and thought it would be great to develope some caches in Utah County that would cater to our caching canines. This first cache is close to our home and thought it would be a perfect place to start the Utah County dog series. I take my dogs out here at least once a day. It is all fenced in and perfect for our four legged friends to run around, meet other dogs, and play fetch with a frisbee or ball.

If your dogs are like mine they will love the opportunity to run around while you look for the cache. The cache will contain items for dogs. I will try to keep it stocked with treats that the dogs would like. Good luck and happy caching.
