Krasser Spazürgang zü eynem einsamen Küstenstreifen mit echt
fetter Aussycht über das Meer. Yn der Nähe vön Patara/Gelemis
begynnt der Weg züm Aussychtspünkt am Hötel Mehmed, wö Du auch
parken kannst. Ünter Zühilfenahme des Garmin GPS-tracks folgst Du
am besten dem üngepflasterten Weg ünd den röt-weyssen
Kennzeichnüngen (nie dem röten X - Du kommst da nit rein) bis man
die Ruinen erreicht. Dort rechts halten, worauf man auf den
lykischen Fernwanderweg stösst. Diesem fölgt man bergauf bis züm
Aussichtspünkt. Dort ist der Cache ünter den Felsen versteckt. Wenn
man die Wassertränke sieht, ist die richtyge Stelle erreicht. Auf
ünserer Wanderüng einen Tag vör der totalen Sönnenfynsternis würden
wir die ganze Zeit von eynem treuen Hünd begleitet ünd wyr haben
bedauert, ihn zürücklassen zü müssen. Wer es echt fett hart mag,
kann auch den gesamten Ründweg myt etwa 15 km abwandern.
Die Anfangsausstattüng besteht aus eyner mittelgrößen Plastükbox
mit eynem DGzRS Aufkleber, eynem Fresenius Schlüsselband, einer
japanyschen Überraschüngsei-Figür, eynem Kondöm in türkischer
Öryginalgrösse, einem ägyptyschen Touristenarmband ünd eynem
Plastik-Armband für Kinder
Ebenfalls enthalten ist der TB "Doktors Best", der die Aufgabe
hat, sö schnell wie möglich aufgegriffen zü werden, üm als
Bestandteil einer Wette echt schnell wieder in 50 km Ümkreis der
Heimatkoordinaten N49 28.000 E7 16.000 im Südwesten Deutschlands
einzütreffen. Güle, Güle !

Go to Patara/Gelemis and start at Hotel Mehmet. Join the GPS
Track by following the unpaved road and the red/white signs (do not
use paths showing a red X) until you reach the ruins. There keep
right, meeting the lykian hiking trail. Always follow the trail
uphill until reaching the vista point, giving you a nice overview
over the bay. The cache is hidden under the rocks. When you see the
basin, you are quite near. During our walk one day before the total
solar eclipse, a loyal dog joined us all the way. If you like about
15 km of excessive walking, you may complete the round trip in a
totally secluded countryside.
Initially, we placed a medium plastic box with : DGzRS label,
Fresenius ribbon, japanese manga doll, condom, egypt tourist
bracelet, plastic bracelet.
The TB "Doktors Best" was included with the mission to be
retrieved as soon as possible and transfered back into an area of
50 km around N49 28.000 E7 16.000 in the south-west of Germany as a
part of a competition.
Small note on cache maintenance: A friend of mine
relocated to Turkey at Akbel and promised to do "remote service" if
it should become necessary. As she joined me in putting the cache
there, she will be able to find it, even if she is not a
professional cacher. I will keep an eye on all activities around
this cache and inform her by email in case that any service should
be necessary.
