in our disclaimer.
Be sure to bring a flat blade Screwdriver to open the cache box and
make sure one of screw tabs is tighten enough to close the seal
when you leave. Parking is on westbound side only along Hwy 6 and
the cache is across the river so be careful with kids. The Terrain
rating is higher due to varying water flows. Use common sense
crossing the river, if the water is high don’t attempt
crossing.
I have created a series of caches that are based on JRR Tolkien
trilogy the Lord of the rings. These caches do not have to be
completed in order; however you will need to collect clues in some
caches to complete other caches later in the series. There will be
six sub-series of caches one for each of the original six books. I
will try to incorporate an event or place from the books into each
cache. You will need do research or find clues in the books. Some
answers may be found in the movies. In each cache you will find a
clue that you will need in order to find the final cache for each
book. The final cache in each book will then provide a clue to a
master cache at the end of all six series. Be sure to write down
each clue. I have used three different references to collect the
facts for these caches, the movies, a three book paper back set and
the 50th Anniversary Edition both printed by Houghton Mifflin. Good
luck and have fun working on and completing these caches.

Tom leads Frodo, Marry, Sam and Pippin to his home where they meet
Goldberry the daughter of the river. At Tom’s they spend time
eating and listening to the stories of old from Tom. He teaches
them about the bees, flowers, and the ways of the trees. He warns
them to stay away from the Barrows and not to poke around the ruins
there. Traveling North from Tom’s home they travel through the
Barrows and stop to eat lunch and stretch out for a short rest.
However they are captured by a Barrow-Wight that Tom had warned the
about. Frodo wake up before he is completely under the Barrow-Wight
spell and contemplates putting on the ring to save himself or try
to saving his friends. He decided to try and save them all and then
remembers the song Tom taught them. Tom comes and saves them from
the Barrow-Wight and escorts them to the east road. Before leaving
Tom destroys the Barrow-Wight mound and gives each Hobbits a long
leaf shaped dagger he has taken from the Barrow mound.
