Geocache Description:

Another cache along the Water of Leith Cache Trail.

cache trail logo

This cache is along the Water of Leith Walkway, which follows the Water of Leith for 12 miles from Balerno, at the foot of the Pentlands, to Leith.

This is one of three caches that I placed for Haggis Hunter's CITO event on April 22nd 2006. Colinton Dell is probably one of the prettiest sections of the Water of Leith walkway, and deserves another cache or two. It's very busy, rain or shine, with walkers and dogs, so stealth may be required!

It was very difficult to derive accurate coordinates for this cache but the clue should help! If you are on the river side of the path, then you are on the wrong side!

Since this cache was placed by Firth of Forth it has been adopted and maintained by two further cachers, first maiawalli and now Au_and_U.
