Geocache Description:

Crown Royal - The Legendary Import

Crown Royal is a blend of distinct, full bodied Canadian whiskies matured to perfection in white oak barrels. Crown Royal was first created to celebrate the King and Queen of England's visit to Canada in 1939. Since its inception Crown Royal's perfectly blended whiskey has become the standard of excellence for Canadian whiskey and "The Legendary Import." Two connoisseurs, and using their specific comments, had this to say in Whiskey Magazine ...

Michael Jackson

Nose - Soft, sweet toffeeish. Rounded.

Palate - Oily. Drier. Fudge-like.

Finish - Slight rye dryness, rounded out with a _touch of Bourbon.

Comment - Like Seagram’s VO Gold, a delicate but wonderfully dexterous blend.

Dave Broom

Nose - Complex yet restrained with depth and a subtle charm. Poached pear, peach, creamy toffee/sweet vanilla and hint of light rye notes, lemon nut and hickory.

Palate - Sits on the tongue nicely with an almost dense chewiness. Starts softly then a gentle, subtle lift of lemon icing, sultana cake, rye and soft sweet honey.

Finish - Soft and long.

Comment - Mellow elegance.

Specifics aside. While doing the Bee Head Ranch Time Capsule I became really thirsty so since I carry some of these with me at all times I took my refreshment then placed another where someone might also have a need. Enjoy but be sure to BYOP just in case!
