The terrain is typical to Mohican State Forest, rolling hills, some steep cliffs, lots of tree roots. No strollers, and only sure-footed older geo-kids.
Before we knew anything about geocaching we were hikers and this was one of my kids favorite spots to hike to. It is not a long hike by Mohican Forest standards, but it will take you over an hour to get in and out, assuming you stop and enjoy the views.
LOTS OF MUGGLES-- PLEASE be careful as this one has disapeered twice. But I love this hike and would love to keep this cache here.
There is no need for bushwacking. Stay on the trails.
Read the cache nickname for an easy clue about which trail.
Parking is at the Pleasant Hill Dam.
This one isn't difficult, just wanted to share a fun hiking trail.
Cache is full of typical kid-friendly swag. I love to watch my kids get excited to go for another long hike in the woods, so we are on a mission to make sure Ashland/Wayne counties caches have fun swag.
Watch muggles, this is a popular hiking trail.
Trail is open daylight hours only. Dogs are welcome on leash.
