The second of two sites where I spent some time back in 2001 for a field project called IMPROVE2 (the other geocache is reached from Corbett SnoPark). Tombstone Pass was lonely compared to Santiam Pass. There are two major challenges with this location: tree cover impedes GPS signal, there was nearly a meter of snow on ground when I placed it but, as mentioned above, snow on ground will not prevent you from finding it. Container is dark blue about 3x8x16 cm large.
