Geocache Description:

Multi-stage micro cache located in Mayberry State Park.

This is a 4 stage micro cache.(3 micros and the 4th is the plastic container.)Very little bushwhacking is required if you stay to the trails, Stages are located near trails. Overall length is about 2 miles if you bushwhack point to point. If you stick to the trails it could be longer than 2 miles but not much more. It is a nice hike on a beautiful day.
Enter Mayberry from the Eight Mile entrance. A State parks sticker is required, but the last few times I've been there, there has been no one there to check. This may change during the summer. Daily passes are fairly cheap or you can buy a yearly pass for all the state parks for around $24.You can park at N42 25.925 W083 32.130. I tried to keep the bushwhacking very limited. Most are hiking trails and paved bike trails. If you don't mind the hike this park is beautiful. You could also bring a mountain bike and do this to save some walking. On a beautiful day it is not bad. The website listed below is a map of Mayberry State Park. This map shows all of the trails (horse, biking, hiking, paved.)This map is very helpful. Go to the site and print the map. It will come in handy. The final cache is a plastic tupperware container (8"x6"x4"). There is a bonus for the first to find. This is our second cache, but first multi. I hope this is not too hard. The reason for the 2.5 difficully rating is due to the lenght from first stage to last. Also after you locate stage 1 head back to the parking lot to start stage 2. If you start for stage 2 from stage 1 location you will have to do a lot of bushwacking. From the parking area coordinates you can pretty much follow a paved path to stages 2 & 3. Don't forget The Mayberry park map. It will help.
