Killiney beach is approximately 3 miles South of Dalkey in South
Dublin.
Killiney Bay is said to resemble the Bay of Naples and this
comparison is reflected in local Italian-sounding names: Vico,
Sorrento Terrace, Monte Alverno, San Elmo, Capri.
Looking South you can see Bray Head, the Sugar Loaf and the
Little Sugar Loaf in County Wicklow.
There are basically two approaches to this multi-cache. Park at the
DART station in Killiney and head for the beach or drive to a
housing estate called Bayview and park in the little cul-de-sac
that lets you walk under the DART tracks through to a large open
space that leads to the beach.
The first co-ordinants will bring you to where we have hidden
the co-ordinants to the cache itself. We have to emphasise here
that we need you to replace the "first clue" exactly as it was
found, which is at ground level.
The cache itself is a film canister containing pencil and log
pages.
