Cows? in Berkeley? Once upon a time, a local purveyor of dairy products (blessed are the cheesemakers) used to have as a TV slogan, "Farms? In Berkeley? Moooooooo!" Well, here might have been where their cows were -- if their cows were, uh, sculpture by nature.
This is on the Ohlone Greenway, a nice ped/bike trail beginning at Ohlone Park in Berkeley (site of BzP+RO #2), and eventually going to El Cerrito Del Norte BART -- maybe it's an urban "power trail" in the making? Anyway, while you're enjoying the art, there's a mural north of this hide... worth a look-see if nothing else. Actually, there's a lot of public art and/or historical-educational plaques in this "block" of the Ohlone Trail.
Historical note, respecting our fallen comrade, motogrrl: this is one of three hides that I was working on that had motogrrl connections, when she was killed. The hide style is blatantly stolen from one of hers; think of it as "the sincerest form of flattery". It saddens me to think that she won't find this hide. :-C
There is a hider-made polymer clay magnet for the FTF. While you can trade items if you want to, the owner did not intend this as a trading cache, and will not be "freshening" the offerings.
FTF: paperson! Congratulations!
