Geocache Description:

Flat, well compacted footpath. Rarely muddy.No gain in height.Cache is 0.66 mile from start at Sudbrook.

Start at level crossing at Sudbrook.N52 59.257 W000 33.236.
Take footpath East towards Ancaster, passing Woodland Waters on your right.'Woodies'is well worth a visit, take bread for the ducks and geese and make a detour on the way back possibly.There are also lots of squirrels and birdlife.
The cache is named to acknowledge the Roman past of the village. A small guide is available in the local Store,as are provisions for the way back ! There is a Roman Village trail which is easily walkable if you have time.
The trail starts at the village hall [where you can also do a quick dash to the cache if you don't want the the scenic approach as suggested.]
