This is our very first cache! We have enjoyed many that others have made, so we took some of the devious things we learned and decided to put them to ill use… This cache was inspired by the controversial "Chevy-on-a-stick". Some claim the arch was inspired by the other set of arches across the street. However, there is more to this story, as will be revealed in the rest of this series. Whether you love it or hate it, this is your tax dollars at work… so go up and look at it! Parking can be difficult, depending on time of day. There are some open areas next to a small restaurant on the corner (Josie's), or you can go through the neighborhood the back way (on Ridgecrest, which ends in a cul-de-sac next to the sculpture). The coordinates will take you to the artwork itself, and you will have to figure out the nearby cache location from the formulas below. However, VERY high muggle zone secondary to traffic, so be mindful of the time of day you go (Corner of San Mateo and Gibson). Please be stealthy as you search and replace cache carefully so others can enjoy. This is a log-only microcache, so please bring your own writing instrument. Sorry--there is not room for a FTF item, but you will experience that warm fuzzy feeling as a consolation prize!
